I have great news. I had my first PT/CT scan last week since my surgery. They saw no evidence of disease! Nada, Nothing, Zilch. I am very grateful. I will continue taking my chemotherapy as a preventative measure, and be monitored.
Overall, I am a very lucky guy and I am Thriving,
Thank you for your interest and support.
Paul

Hello Paul,
I am not sure if you remember me or not but I rode with you for a while just before we arrived at the MMA. Tony introduced you to me. My name is Christina Lake and I am on Team Brentwheels, we had the pink whale Vineyard Vine jerseys.
It was a pleasure to meet you and hear your amazing courage. You have inspired me the same way that Michael McCreesh (Brent's Dad) did three years ago when I joined our team.
I am also a cancer "thriver" and live every day to it's fullest. It is people like you that touch me and make me realize how lucky we all are.
I like you, have never thought of my cancer as a negative and so many wonderful things have come out of it. Sounds so bizare when I say that out loud.
Last year at the PMC, I remember your team in the spot light at the opening ceremonies. Then our team spoke of your Posse the entire weekend. We looked for your team and called your names out when we saw you. "Paul's Posse" definitley stands out to us.
Meeting you this weekend was a priviledge and an honor, as short as it was.
I am hugely impressed by your enthusiasm and positive energy even after all that riding 100 + miles.
Reading your wife Gay's and your blog brings wonderful tears to my eyes. You are so lucky to have each other.
I look forward to seeing you and your team next year at the PMC. Stay well, I will continue to ride strong as you are my inspiration. We do make a difference.
Thank you so much,
Christina Lake
